I’ve designed this 60–75 minute walking tour to be dynamic, engaging, and packed with humor. We will dive into the rich history of the Moravian capital, but we’ll do it through the most entertaining local myths, quirky facts, and a few good laughs. It’s the perfect "Brno in a nutshell" experience!
What we will discover together:
- Freedom Square (Náměstí Svobody): Meet our controversial Astronomical Clock and learn why we saved the city from the Swedish army by cheating time.
- Church of St. James: A stunning gothic beauty with a slightly inappropriate secret (and a cheeky little statue) hiding on its facade.
- The Old Town Hall: Walk under the crooked tower and meet the two absolute icons of the city: The Brno Dragon and the Wooden Wheel.
- Cabbage Market (Zelný trh): Feel the vibe of a marketplace that has been operating since the 13th century, featuring the stunning Parnas Fountain.
- Petrov Hill: We’ll finish up with breathtaking views from the Denis Gardens and the monumental Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul.
