Free walking tours in Zagreb

Mirjana is engaging and informative. She covers the main aspects of Upper Town that everyone should be aware of. I have been on a previous tour several years ago so I knew of many of the places but it is refreshing to hear it again and I was very happy to choose Mirjana to be the guide. I also felt the group would be smaller than certain other tours and I was proven correct and this also makes a difference. Mirjana also gave us an idea of what to do on one of our free days using public transportation (visit Samobor) plus she recommends certain reasonably priced restaurants. Please, please remember to tip your guide as it is a free tour. It appears that some attendees skipped out on tipping Mirjana which is completely unfair.

My husband and I have used GuruWalks in several European countries and have always learnt loads from very well informed and entertaining guides. Mirjana, I thought, was exceptionally good, and I enjoyed her tour all the more as the bad weather seemingly kept a number of people away - their loss, our gain!! Unfortunately my husband was ill so missed out today, but I would happily repeat the tour tomorrow so that he can enjoy and learn what I benefitted from today

The walk with Mislav was informative and engaging. It had a good balance of facts and history with interesting tales.

Katya was fantastic. She gave a good history of different influences of current Croatian cuisine. All the food that we had was delicious! We ended our tour with taste and Croatian booze!!! We would definitely recommend this tour!!!

Mirjana was very enthusiastic and passionate and the fact she is born and bred from Zagreb really showed in her detailed knowledge of places and history. This was an English speaking tour but for most of participants English was there second language. Mirjana adapted well to this, keeping explanations clear and concise. I would have enjoyed more in depth details on Zagreb and Croatian history but appreciate this may not have been of interest to rest of group. Mirjana did always answer specific questions though Thorough enjoyed this tour and can recommend
