Escogimos este tour en inglés porque en Azerbaijan no se encuentra aún este idioma para los guías locales. Sin embargo el inglés del guía fue muy bueno, complementado por su grado de conocimiento de la historia de la ciudad. Nos gustó mucho el recorrido y recomendamos a Kamil como guía.

This tour was simply amazing! Kamil is extremely knowledgeable and even has additional pictures to show. Past, present and I would even say future perspective, Kamil can tell you all about it not just in relation to the beautiful city of Baku! I would recommend anyone reading this to book one of the tours of Kamil! After the tour he even brought out tea for us to drink to end it all! Once again Thank you for the tour Kamil!

Kamil Guruwalks- Kamil is the kind of the guide who you want to have as a guest at your dinner party as the conversations will keep flowing. Loved the tour. Very enthusiastic and informative guide with a wealth of knowledge. Gives a lot of history and background and puts things into perspective for those who love deeper understanding of the city and it's people. Kamil likes to show things beyond the obvious sites. Speaks very good English and German with a lot of supporting pictures on the iPad. The tea experience was something that we didn't expect so that was special too. The tour finished at Nizami st perfect for an after tour snack. The tour lasts much longer than advertised so please don't book appointments right after so you enjoy it in full. We did the inner and outer town magical Baku tour with him and we highly recommend.

Kamil was an amazing tour guide! We learned so much about the recent history and he was able to thoughtfully answer every question we had. It was obvious Kamil is very passionate and knowledgeable about his work. He added so many personal touches: a homemade tea break, excellent restaurant recommendations, personal anecdotes, and even an amazing movie recommendation that highlights much of the history and architecture we learned about. An unforgettable experience all around!! We were able to appreciate Baku so much more after taking this tour… we highly recommend!!

I have been to a lot of walking tours in Europe and this just tops the list. No commercial and big groups, just one local history/geography enthusiast sharing all he knows about a place he loved! Kamil was one of a kind. He often smiles when he was digging deeper into the histories. He himself cannot contain the love he has for history and geography. He is genuine, polite and knowledgeable. I was the only person with him during this tour and we overran for 2 hours. Still, it was all smiles and no rush. There was also a session when he would pour home-brew tea and teaches you about Azerbaijani tea culture. Best experience and is a MUST if you are interested in history of Baku.
