We joined a guided tour in Beijing with Roy Li and absolutely loved it! Roy is an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, passionate, and able to explain both the historical background and the contemporary context of China in a clear and engaging way. Thanks to him, we discovered the hutongs, the most authentic and fascinating neighborhoods of Beijing, where you can truly feel the city’s soul and see how poverty and wealth intertwine in a surprising balance. We really enjoyed our Hutong tour with Roy Li. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Chinese history, culture, and everyday life in the Hutongs, and shared fascinating insights throughout.
