Luiz is a very knowledgable and friendly guide. He will show you around in a very relaxed way. I really liked how he explains about life in the favela, with understated humour and not shying away from any topic. You can literally ask him anything. He will make you feel comfortable and safe the whole tour. Highly recommended!

Luiz war ein großartiger Guide Er ist in der Favela geboren und aufgewachsen. Er hat ein großes Wissen über doe Favela und beantwortet jede Frage. Er weist genau hin, wo z.b. Fotos gemacht werden dürfen und wo nicht. Ich habe mich zu keiner Zeit unwohl oder unsicher gefühlt. Empfehle ihn gerne weiter!!
This tour takes you places and shows you things you couldn't see on your own. Always felt safe and never felt unwelcome. Luis and his family have lived here for generations and he knows the place inside out. Not sugar coated but not sensationalised either. A tour like this is a must in Rio.
