Sean

Sean war ein super Guide. Leider waren aufgrund der Weihnachtsfeiertage keine der besuchten (und sonst auf der Tour angesteuerten Orte) Geöffnet. Johannesburg war leergefegt, und relativ unsicher. Wir sind trotzdem durch die Stadt gelaufen, Sean hat uns einiges erzählt und wir hatten insgesamt eine gute Zeit.

Sean knows a lot about the city and it's history. He also did his best to get the person with the wheelchair everywhere. That was really nice. Very nice tour!

the maboneng tour was more of an experience than a standard tour. because you're getting the back story on the neighborhood's street artists, sampling local foods and visiting local galleries and clubs, you can't help but be drawn into everything the neighborhood has to offer. that's all to sean's credit as an expert guide.

Interesting and enjoyable. Perhaps I expected more from the places we visited, but it is not attributable to the guide.

The walk was much better than expected. Sean showed me some street art and gave me interesting background information about the paintings and the artists. He took me to three different takeaways that I would never have entered on my own and surprised me with delicious food that I would never have ordered. He showed me places, bars and studios that I would have 100% missed. Sean made me feel super comfortable and totally safe. I can only recommend Sean as a guide and the tour through Maboneng.
