¡Hola! Me llamo Cecilia y estoy orgullosa de ser singapurense. Siempre me ha apasionado viajar y he explorado muchos países a lo largo de los años, desde 1987, cuando me embarqué en un viaje de mochilera por Europa para trabajar y viajar durante tres increíbles años en mi juventud. Al regresar, pasé más de 20 años trabajando en la industria de los viajes, alimentando mi amor por la exploración. He aprendido mucho sobre las culturas, historias y herencias únicas de diferentes países. Cuando la pandemia golpeó en 2020, aproveché la oportunidad para redescubrir mi propio país. Me uní a recorridos locales y caminatas por la naturaleza y, para mi deleite, descubrí que Singapur también es rico en historia y patrimonio. I recently joined the free walking tour of Chinatown, and it was a highlight of my trip to Singapore! Our guide, Cecilia, was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing the rich history and hidden gems of this vibrant neighborhood. From the stunning temples to the fascinating stories behind the traditional shophouses, Cecilia made the heritage of the area come alive. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into her storytelling, and she was more than happy to answer everyone’s questions. Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you want to truly understand the soul of Chinatown, definitely ask for Cecilia!

Cecilia was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. We visited places I wouldn’t have found on my own and we had a lot of interesting information about the history and development of Singapore. I’m keen to learn more about Singapores history - it’s a fascinating country.
