Hallo! Mein Name ist Cecilia und ich bin stolz darauf, Singapurerin zu sein. Ich hatte schon immer eine Leidenschaft fürs Reisen und habe im Laufe der Jahre viele Länder erkundet, angefangen 1987, als ich in meiner Jugend drei unglaubliche Jahre lang mit dem Rucksack durch Europa reiste, um zu arbeiten und zu reisen. Nach meiner Rückkehr arbeitete ich über 20 Jahre in der Reisebranche und nährte meine Liebe zum Entdecken weiter. Ich habe so viel über die einzigartigen Kulturen, Geschichten und das Erbe verschiedener Länder gelernt. Als die Pandemie 2020 ausbrach, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit, mein eigenes Land neu zu entdecken. Ich nahm an lokalen Touren und Naturwanderungen teil und stellte zu meiner Freude fest, dass auch Singapur reich an Geschichte und Erbe ist. Ich bin jetzt ein professioneller, beim Singapore Tourism Board (STB) registrierter Reiseleiter und kann es kaum erwarten, die Geschichten Singapurs mit Ihnen zu teilen!
Cecilia took the time to add a more personalized tour based on the inclement weather. She was kind and friendly and took her time to provide meaningful and knowledgeable answers. Although I have visited Singapore many times before, she has gems of historical information such as the historical hospital which is now used for shops, and the UAE center tour as well. She was flexible and I highly recommend her tour for those who like to hear the stories of Chinatown and Singapore.
Cecilia was engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. She asked questions and tried to keep us guessing what would happen next. The tour is more informational about the early residents of singapore versus lots of stops. I appreciated her extensive knowledge, but would like a tour that covers more area as the route is fairly short
Wonderful tour, perfect balance between information, sightseeing and stories. The tour started out with an overview over Singapore, its history and how things came to be the way they are today. That was perfect to get a better idea of the country, ideal for the beginning of a visit to Singapore. As the tour only covers Chinatown, this way you also get an idea of what else to explore next. Cecilia did such a great job at giving an insight into people’s lives then and now, culture and history. Walking through Chinatown she pointed out all there was to see while telling stories, making the place’s history come alive. There was just the right amount of facts and information to relate but not to be overwhelmed.Also it was very important to her to cater the tour to what those joining the tour want to see and know. Highly recommend!
Cecilia was lovely and had a lot of interesting facts how locals live and about the history of Singapur, Chinatown etc. Good level of English is required as Singlish sometimes is hard to understand - but other than that an awesome experience. Would recommend it for sure! She knew a lot of secret spots, that we would have missed otherwise (e.g food spots, wall paintings and historical buildings).
