Hallo! Mein Name ist Cecilia und ich bin stolz darauf, Singapurerin zu sein. Ich hatte schon immer eine Leidenschaft fürs Reisen und habe im Laufe der Jahre viele Länder erkundet, angefangen 1987, als ich in meiner Jugend drei unglaubliche Jahre lang mit dem Rucksack durch Europa reiste, um zu arbeiten und zu reisen. Nach meiner Rückkehr arbeitete ich über 20 Jahre in der Reisebranche und nährte meine Liebe zum Entdecken weiter. Ich habe so viel über die einzigartigen Kulturen, Geschichten und das Erbe verschiedener Länder gelernt. Als die Pandemie 2020 ausbrach, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit, mein eigenes Land neu zu entdecken. Ich nahm an lokalen Touren und Naturwanderungen teil und stellte zu meiner Freude fest, dass auch Singapur reich an Geschichte und Erbe ist. Ich bin jetzt ein professioneller, beim Singapore Tourism Board (STB) registrierter Reiseleiter und kann es kaum erwarten, die Geschichten Singapurs mit Ihnen zu teilen!
I recently joined the free walking tour of Chinatown, and it was a highlight of my trip to Singapore! Our guide, Cecilia, was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing the rich history and hidden gems of this vibrant neighborhood. From the stunning temples to the fascinating stories behind the traditional shophouses, Cecilia made the heritage of the area come alive. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into her storytelling, and she was more than happy to answer everyone’s questions. Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you want to truly understand the soul of Chinatown, definitely ask for Cecilia!

Cecilia was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. We visited places I wouldn’t have found on my own and we had a lot of interesting information about the history and development of Singapore. I’m keen to learn more about Singapores history - it’s a fascinating country.
