Ciao! Mi chiamo Cecilia e sono orgogliosa di essere di Singapore. Ho sempre avuto una passione per i viaggi e ho esplorato molti paesi nel corso degli anni a partire dal 1987, quando ho intrapreso un viaggio zaino in spalla attraverso l'Europa per lavorare e viaggiare per tre anni incredibili nella mia giovinezza. Al mio ritorno, ho trascorso oltre 20 anni lavorando nel settore dei viaggi, continuando ad alimentare il mio amore per l'esplorazione. Ho imparato così tanto sulle culture, le storie e il patrimonio unici di diversi paesi. Quando la pandemia ha colpito nel 2020, ho colto l'occasione per riscoprire il mio paese. Ho partecipato a tour locali e passeggiate nella natura e, con mia gioia, ho scoperto che anche Singapore è ricca di storia e patrimonio. Ora sono una guida turistica professionista registrata presso il Singapore Tourism Board (STB) e non vedo l'ora di condividere con voi le storie di Singapore!
I recently joined the free walking tour of Chinatown, and it was a highlight of my trip to Singapore! Our guide, Cecilia, was absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing the rich history and hidden gems of this vibrant neighborhood. From the stunning temples to the fascinating stories behind the traditional shophouses, Cecilia made the heritage of the area come alive. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into her storytelling, and she was more than happy to answer everyone’s questions. Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you want to truly understand the soul of Chinatown, definitely ask for Cecilia!

Cecilia was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. We visited places I wouldn’t have found on my own and we had a lot of interesting information about the history and development of Singapore. I’m keen to learn more about Singapores history - it’s a fascinating country.
