Hi everyone. My name is Craig and I am a high school history & politics teacher, part time professor at the Faculty of Education at Ottawa and the owner and creator of Ottawa Walking Tours all the way back in 2006! I created the company because I have lived and travelled all over the world and I ALWAYS take walking tours as it is the best way to learn and discover more about the city or region you are visiting. When I returned home to Canada, I thought "I could do that in Ottawa!" and rest as they say is history!

While it wasn’t Craig (11AM on June 4,2026) the stand-in was underprepared and having done many Guru Walks around the world, the least enjoyable tour we have ever completed.
Craig transmits the information in such a manner which, that it stays with you. A lot of interesting facts without a dump of dates.
