Hello, I'm Evin!
I am a guide based in Dublin - a city with an incredible wealth of history and culture that I have long been fascinated with. I love to share the stories of these streets with just about anyone who will listen, which is my motivation to start giving tours.
The city has much to tell, from its Viking beginnings, through wars; famines; and independence to the modern day European capital which is so full of character. Let me guide you through Dublin's fair city, where you will see a diverse range of places, voices and cultures that will help you discover this bustling city.
Evin offered us a very insightful and entertaining crash course in Dublin (and Irish) history. It was good to follow, even if you didn’t know too much yet! I loved how he touched upon women’s rights and their part in important events in history. Much room for questions too. Thank you Evin!
Focus was on 1910-1925 and the fight for independence and the civil war. Other background info too on the 17th century uprising and other stuff. Lots of history and politics - which we like - and Evan happy to chat on contemporary social issues. Molly Malone a 'must see' landmark but of very limited interest to us. Evan knowledgeable and personable. Good short tour.
