Essential Free walking tours of Singapore

Paul was a wonderful, knowledgeable, interesting and fun guide. He was able to patiently answer a million extra, random, questions, whilst still moving the group through the walk without going excessively over time. It's worth noting that everone was listening as intently at the end as at the beginning, inspite of heat and tiredness, which shows how good he was explaining everything in a captivating way. His thoughtful attention to our comfort, the cold wipes and the food to taste, added to the pleasure of the experience. Would highly recommend any walk with Paul as the guide, and recommend this particular walk as an excellent way to enhance a visit to Singapore.

James gave a really great walking tour, he was super informative, interesting and very kind. He factored in the heat, shade, rest breaks and even bought us some pancakes to try! We had a brilliant time and it was the best way to start our weekend in Singapore. Thankyou so much !

Brilliant tour, learnt a lot about the history of Singapore, Paul was a great guide for us answering lots of questions, making some jokes and even providing some things to taste. Really enjoyed it, thought would be good but was better than thought even. Recommend to all, even locals not just tourists. Good pace and stops, with not lots of standing around, the whole tour went really quick so shows how good it was!

Excellent tour and Paul was a first class guide and entertainer. Willing to answer any questions that the members of the group posed, and there were quite a few! Tour over an by at least 20 minutes, due to a little rain burst and Paul trying to answer more questions. Thoroughly recommend the tour and guide.

The tour was fascinating. We explored the city streets and went inside buildings. They explained what Singapore was, what it is now, and what it will be in the near future. I've taken about 30 free walking tours around the world, and this one was truly special. Gabriel does a fantastic job, and I highly recommend him.

Paul is passionate about Singapore and its history and has a great sense of humour. He was extremely helpful, giving us advice about the rest of our stay as well. The surprise snacks during the tour were a delight!

Despite the heat over which we have no control, this was one of the best tours I have ever taken. What more can you ask for but to learn Singapore’s history from a former history teacher. Joseph was excellent. He was entertaining as well as passionate about explaining the history of Singapore from 700 years ago thru the present. So interesting to learn about the country before the British arrived, during the British tenure and modern day advances. Be prepared for several surprises. Can’t recommend this tour enough.
