Alexis clearly has a genuine love for Vancouver and an enthusiasm for imparting information about his city. He was insightful, witty and gently and constructively critical where necessary. He had clearly researched thoroughly and I particularly liked the fact that he not only encouraged his audience to read more about the topics he covered, but also encouraged them to do so by buying books from local businesses - further boosting the small business economy. Similarly, his recommendations for other local tradespeople was extensive and gave us a quality service. So well researched, well presented and well worth the money. Highly recommended.

I did the free walking tour with Daniel today (6th, Aug.) It’s pretty fantastic. Daniel is a brilliant and handsome tour guide. He shared many tourist attractions, good restaurants, and history of Vancouver with us. If you do really have time, you must join Toonie Tours to know the hidden gems of Vancouver.

Daniel was great fun and a lovely, informative guide! We really appreciated all of his fun facts, and the way that he made the tour interactive by making a point to learn a little bit about each attendee, engaging us in conversation, and having people guess the answers to his trivia questions. We were totally jet lagged and exhausted but we still stayed right to the end because we were learning so much and having a great time.
