Are you looking for a historical tour, full of dates, characters and data that you will forget in the blink of an eye? Insurance? At Go Zeppelin Tours we are convinced that to know a new place not only the data is useful, but also what we experience while discovering it is essential. We are a team of guides accredited by the government of Hungary, in love with Budapest, who one day decided to roll the blanket over our heads and we started to tell you the history of this city in a totally different way. Of course we are going to give you dates, data, battles, anecdotes, kings, but we are also going to talk to you about politics, art, religion and we will talk about some of the most controversial moments in the history of this country in order to understand its current events. Go Zeppelin Tours we are guides but we are also travelers like you. We know that after a tour there is very little information that is retained, so our goal is not to teach history but to understand it. We tell you already, you will not remember any date when you get home but the history behind those numbers yes. You will leave with the certainty that you have known the city from a unique and real point of view, far removed from the idyllic and fictional image that most of the tourist guides offer you.

About the tour

On March 19, 1944 the German Nazis invaded Hungary ... but, wait a moment, invade? With us you will discover what really happened. We will make a tour of about 2 hours for what was the last ghetto built by the Nazis during the Second World War. If you visit the Jewish quarter on your own you will not see anything of the Jewish ghetto that one day spread through its streets, an authentic concentration camp in the heart of the same city.

We will also discover the names of those characters who saved so many lives, their stories, their tricks to deceive the Nazis ... without a doubt our most intense and exciting tour. We are going to completely turn around this neighborhood, now the center of Budapest's nightlife, so you can see it with different eyes.

What you will discover with us on this tour:

▪Great synagogue in Budapest

▪ Tree of life

▪Who was Raoul Wallenberg

▪ Who was Ángel Sanz Briz

▪ Quo Status Synagogue

▪ Original ghetto wall

▪ Orthodox synagogue

▪Szimpla and ruin bars

Observations:

The tour does not include any visits to the interior of the monuments, all the buildings that can be visited require the payment of an entrance and have their own private guides.

Groups of 6 or more people should request availability in advance.

A minimum number of 6 participants will be necessary to guarantee the departure of the free tour.
