We are a group of university students who love Mexico and enjoy sharing the history, food, traditions and local face of the country to tourists. We love to continue preparing ourselves to give excellent attention as we would like to receive it to us.
It is the best introduction to Mexico City to understand one of the largest metropolises in the world.
You will learn about the Aztec/Mexica origin and colonization in New Spain . We will visit pre- Hispanic ruins in the heart of the historic center, which are located next to colonial and modern buildings.
We will talk about the 3 eras: Pre-Hispanic Mexico, the Viceroyalty and the Republic. Also of loved and hated presidents, artists and characters who gave identity to the city.
We will go to places that do not appear in tourist guides or maps, while we see churches, monuments, museums.
We will also try a fermented drink that is typical of the center of the country. We will use the 5 senses to learn words in Nahuatl, listen to the local musical rhythms and learn about the stones that give identity to the houses.
Keep in mind that only the outside of the places will be visited, we will give you schedules and tips for you to come back. These are some places we will visit:
This tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours. The itinerary can be adapted depending on the weather or possible contingencies.
°At the time of booking, it is necessary to leave a correct and active WhatsApp number since sometimes due to events and protests, the streets and the nearby subway usually close. We will notify you, if applicable, of the alternate meeting point to take the tour and enjoy the day.
°To complement your stay we suggest you join our Taco Tour, the best way to get to know the gastronomy and Tour of the Streets of Coyoacán , the neighborhood of Frida Kahlo and many artists.
°It is not possible to take the tour if you are a group of more than 6 people. In that case we recommend a private tour.
In front of the Metropolitan Cathedral, look only for GREEN umbrellas and shirts
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
