I am an Engineer who is in love with her hometown. Since I was a little girl I have always had an interest in its history and its own little secrets. I have taken a lot of walking tours myself around Mexico and Europe. In my hometown, I lead them for family and friends, I always try to show them what I find most interesting as well as combining history with folk stories or legends.

Tour description

(please note that if you have a tour (city centre, the "Bufa", or any museum) already booked or plan but it is not available in English, I can be your translator :), just send me a message and we can meet at the time of your already booked tour)

We will do a walking tour through the city centre combining both the history of the city as well as folk stories.

the tour is 1.5 - 2 hours long, the sites we will visit will mainly cover the outsides (just a few sites that we can enter for free or that people won't be disturbed by the visit), the route we will follow it's going to be:

1. First, we will meet at "Santo Domingo" and "Museo Pedro Coronel"

2. We will then walk to the "Ciudadela del Arte", and if allowed to enter we will visit the vaults.

3. We will then proceed to the "Congreso de la Unión"

4. Come down to "Plazuela Miguel Auza"

5. Then we will walk through "Avenida Hidalgo" - the main street we will visit "Los Portales", "Teatro Fernando Calderón", " Plazuela Goitia", "Mercado Gonzáles Ortega", "La catedral", etc.

6. The tour will end at "Plaza de Armas" and if we are allowed to enter, we will see the mural inside of it.

I will be more than happy to answer all of your questions and give you tips so that you can enjoy the city like a local.
