Silvia was outstanding! She was a wealth of information, and was more than happy to take a wide range of questions regarding all sorts of topics, from Mexican history, to current trends and facts, along with invaluable travel and visitor tips. She was super organised, and able to change the route as opportunities presented themselves with the flower festivities. Even better was the huge amount of advice and connections Silvia was able to provide for the following days of our visit to Guanajuato. I’d totally recommend anyone take this tour if you can.

I had a great tour with Silvia around Guanajuato city centre. She’s super knowledgeable about the city and shared lots of info about its history/culture/architecture and knitted everything together in an easy to digest tour. She also provided recommendations for restaurants and places to visit which I would’ve missed otherwise. I recommend her tour 100%!

We had an incredible time on the Historical Downtown Tour with Silvia Elena! She is incredibly knowledgeable and brings history to life in a way that is easy to follow. A highlight was the way she used a physical map and historical photos at various stops; it was fascinating to compare the past with the modern-day city. ​Silvia also gave us fantastic recommendations for local dining and shopping that we really appreciated. The tour was so packed with interesting information that the time absolutely flew by. Highly recommended if you want a deep dive into Guanajuato!

Silvia Elena was a fantastic and experienced tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She is also very well travelled and her English is excellent. We were able to visit some sites we would've completely missed if it hadn't been for her! She also had amazing dinner suggestions in addition to other hidden gems. Monica was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. She shared so much about the history, the legends, culture and food of Guanjuato. She took us to the tunnels and less known alleyways. I was so grateful to hear for all the recommendations and advice on what to do and see in Guanjuato as well as how to get around with the local buses. Once you know the story of Guanjuato it's an even more magical place. This tour is a must for all visitors!
