About the tour

I would love to show the secrets of the former capital of the medieval Asturian Kingdom, the place that originated the famous Camino De Santiago and the vibrant city that is home of The Princess of Asturias Awards.

We will start our visit by exploring the Old Town, the city's wall and the amazing historical buildings that form the city which is famous for its arquitecural features. We will walk in the shoes of the first pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela as we discover the former neighborhoods of Socastiello, The Episcopal Palace and the Merchants Quarter.

At the end we will venture into the Oviedo of today which is a city that mixes Asturian traditions and modernity which makes it a reference in gastronomy and culture.

Itinerary (by foot):

- Remaining's of the City Wall
