About the tour

See Hanoi through the eyes of a local. This experience will let you live, feel & breathe the real Hanoi as you were a Hanoian. We start our journey through time, hearing tales of the war with Chinese, French, and American; learning about the history of the 1000-year-old city and try the best food of Vietnam.

Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture as we walk through the and visit sites known only to locals (the smallest and longest alley, and a hidden temple) and have a deep understanding of religions, history of Vietnam. There will be plenty of time for photographs, as you see how Vietnamese really live in the city.

Hanoi food tour with Rosie

We had an awesome afternoon with Rosie. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. Not only did we eat some delicious food, she also showed us some great spots around the city that we would not have otherwise found. Our girls (10 and 13) enjoyed chatting with her and learning about local life. She is super friendly and her English is excellent. We would recommend her 100 percent!

Steven is such a genus tour guide. His knowledge about Hanoi blew our mind. Thank to him, I have a new look to Hanoi though this city made me a little bit dissatisfied at first.

Lana (our private guide) showed us around town pointing out many interesting attractions, good places to eat and provided a lot interesting information. This was a good way to see the city and helps get your bearings if you haven’t been to Hanoi before. Oh and we had some delicious local ice cream so be sure to ask your guide about it.

We took the free walking tour with Lara and had an amazing time. Joining this kind of tour is probably the best way to get to know a little bit of local culture. Lara was an awesome guide throughout the streets of Hanoi. Extremely helpful and kind, shared with us not only the history of the place but her thoughts on some issues and the engine of Vietnamese language, which was for me particularly stunning.
