20th century tour (WW2 + Communism) - DISCOVER BRATISLAVA part 2

A fantastic tour, highly recommended. Our guide, Jakub, was excellent. A lot of great information about Slovakia's history and how it shaped how the country is now. A good mix of facts, stories, history and sights, with our guide encouraging questions and interactions. A good pace to the tour too.

Jakub is a great guide! I thought I knew a bit about this history before, but he taught me a lot. He did so with good humor and also an honesty that sometimes you don’t see in conversations on difficult subjects. I’m super-happy for the chance to be part of his tour.

We went with Paul on this tour and he provided us with a very interesting tour about Slovakia in the 20th century, alongside useful recommendations for food and things to do. Would totally recommend it!

An amazing tour covering so much of Bratislava's interesting recent history and architecture. Maros was like a walking encyclopaedia and we learned all about Czechoslovakia through WWI, WWII and the Cold War, right up until modern day. He also provided a great list of recommendations for places to eat and drink in town. Highly recommend for history buffs!
