CONVENTO DE SAN AGUSTIN, CASA PALACIO, PLAZA PONCE DE LEON, LOS THERCEROS, PANTEON DE SEVILLANOS ILUSTRES, TOWN HALL, PALACIO DE SAN TELMO In the 15th century there were two families in Seville that had more power than King the Ponces and Los Guzmanes. Both clashed for power at the end of the 15th century and turned the city into a battlefield. We visited the main buildings in the city related to the Ponce de León family Dukes of Aros and Lords of Marchena that controlled the city of Seville. We start at the former convent of San Agustín, its burial place, continue to the Plaza Ponce de León and enter the remains of its current Emasesa Building Palace and the former convent of Terceros. We visit the current family grave in Bellas Artes, pantheon of illustrious Sevillians. In Cuna Street we will see the remains of the Ducal de Marchena palace and in the Alcazar of Seville we will see the Marchena gate. In the Palace of San Telmo we will see the monument to Rodrigo Ponce de León, hero of the Granada War.
