Beginner's Guide to Moscow - Free Walking Tour

Won't have want to do this without Ksenia! She's super insightful and accomodative to our group! Will definitely do this again with her as our guide!

Alexander was a great guide. Even in heavy snow he still showed us around the city with full energy. It was only two of us on the tour, but he still continued the tour and explained everything nicely. He was friendly and patient. He also introduced us to Raf coffee, which was a nice local experience. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended!

It has been a long time since I attended a tour like this. Due to the current situation, it is a small group and I enjoyed it a lot. Alex introduced many historical facts to us and it was easy to grasp for me that even though I did not know much. Alex was attentive, friendly and knowledgable, I look forward to visit once more in the summer.

Alex was a great instructor — engaging and knowledgeable. My only comment concerns the communication with the office before the tour. We registered a few days in advance, but only the evening before the tour did we receive a message from Ksenia explaining that, due to the political situation (and therefore the lack of tourists), there was a fixed price per person for this tour. While I completely understand the difficult circumstances, I think this should be mentioned as soon as someone registers — just be upfront and say it might happen. That way, people won’t feel they’re being misled. In the end, I believe the price was fair, and the tour itself was excellent.

Alex was an outstanding guide for our walking tour in Moscow. He shared so many fascinating stories and historical details about each landmark we visited, always making sure the group was engaged and comfortable.
