About the tour

Licensed Austria Guides offer a unique opportunity:

The main residence of the Habsburgs for centuries, Vienna, became a centre of European history, art and culture. The former seat of the Habsburgs, the Hofburg, was one of the most important building complexes in Europe for over seven centuries.

We offer interesting facts and stories about Mozart, the “Anschluss” in 1938 and the Second World War. We visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the old Jewish quarter in the city centre.

Let us inform but also entertain you!

Geest! The tour guide told a lot about the history of Wien and the rumours in the past about events. I was surprised to be the only visitor, more people should be joining such a tour!

The tour was very interesting and fun! Wolfgang knows how to wrap historical data into vivid stories so that we actually did a longer tour than planned and still could have listened to him for another half hour. I highly recommend to join one of the tours!

Great Tour, we got to see the main parts of the city and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It could get a bit hard to hear the guide sometimes due to city noise, but since we were in a small group, it wasn't too hard to ask the guide to repeat the information and talk to her in person.
