Free Walking Tour - Historic Pubs and Street Art in the Baltic Triangle
Tour description
Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle is a historic city area, close to the city centre, which has experienced an incredible renaissance making it one of ‘the’ places to see and hang out. You could say it is Liverpool’s hidden gem! Just a stone’s throw from Albert Dock – the city’s World Heritage Site – and shopping hot-spot Liverpool One, the Triangle has been reclaimed and resurrected by a growing colony of creative people, entrepreneurs, and their combined businesses.
The Baltic Triangle is like nowhere else in Liverpool. A former warehousing area when Liverpool was at its peak as an Atlantic port, many of these buildings have been repurposed and adorned by one of the most stunning collections of street art to be found in any European city.
Think of an abundant and bewildering array of street art - suntrap bars, cosy pubs, gin gardens, a golf course inside a warehouse, quirky restaurants, independent food and vintage markets, coffee shops, breweries, incredible music venues, arcades, skateparks, and a vibe found nowhere else in town! It is in your face, raw, but creative, cosmopolitan but definitely scouse!
We explore the triangle at a relaxed pace. Explore what it offers for you. Pausing for pictures of the incredible art and diving into the many bars and other attractions for a look (or even a quick cheeky beer!)
So on your next trip to Liverpool make sure you bring your camera, book yourself on my walking tour and check out The Baltic Triangle for a taste of the city’s most amazing and creative scene.
