 Cusco by Bicycle: Adventure among Mountains and Archaeological Sites

Discover Cusco on two wheels and experience a journey full of history, nature, and adrenaline!

If you are a cycling enthusiast or simply looking for a different way to explore Cusco, this adventure is for you. We will pedal through impressive Andean landscapes while traversing ancient paths and some of the most important archaeological sites of the Inca world.

Our adventure begins with a vehicle transfer to the community of Pumamarca, located in the mountains surrounding the city. From there, we will embark on an exciting journey of approximately 42 kilometers, passing through the districts of Cusco, Wanchaq, and San Sebastián.

Most of the route is downhill, allowing you to enjoy the scenery peacefully while discovering places full of history and energy. During the journey, we will visit important archaeological complexes such as Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Qenqo, and Sacsayhuamán, as well as the ancient Sucankas, Hallarcocha lagoon, and the Waywas sector, where you will learn about the importance of these spaces within the sacred landscape of ancient Qosqo.

As we descend, you will be able to contemplate spectacular views of the Andes, valleys, farmlands, and the characteristic vegetation of the region, combining nature, culture, and adventure in a single experience.

The activity lasts approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes to 4 hours. It is not a competition: we proceed at a comfortable pace, making stops to rest, take photos, and enjoy each place. Your safety and experience are always our priority.

This activity is recommended for people with a basic or moderate physical condition who can ride a bicycle safely.
