Welcome to Japan, Osaka
Hello! My name is Teru.
I am a Japanese guide living in Osaka. I am passionate about showing the essence of this vibrant city, especially the southern part of its urban center.
On my tour, I will take you to discover emblematic places full of history, culture and gastronomy.
We'll start at Kuromon Ichiba, a traditional market where you can see and taste delicacies such as fugu (pufferfish), fresh tuna and Japanese pickles.
Next, we will visit Doguyasuji, a street full of shops specializing in high-quality kitchen utensils and knives, perfect for food lovers.
We will continue along Ota Road and Nipponbashi Shotengai, a fascinating area for fans of otaku culture, manga and retro video games. Here you will also find shops selling old televisions, walkmans and other nostalgic electronic gadgets.
Finally, we will explore Shinsekai, a neighborhood with a unique retro atmosphere, famous for the Tsutenkaku Tower and its local cuisine such as kushikatsu (fried skewers).
