I am a Kenyan born and raised in Nairobi. I love traveling and taking videos and pictures. I am one person who loves learning new languages, so far I can speak 5. I have traveled and lived in almost all the big cities in my country and there is nothing that is always passionate such as going out to see the beauty that this country and nature provide. Welcome to Kenya. In Swahili, we say -''KARIBU''- meaning welcome

Tour description

Welcome to Nairobi, the vibrant capital city of Kenya! If you're looking for an exciting walking tour, you've come to the right place.
Nairobi is a bustling city with a rich cultural heritage and a unique urban landscape that's perfect for exploration. Here are some of the must-see sights and sounds of Nairobi that you won't want to miss on your walking tour with me as your tour guide:

  1. Explore the Maasai Market: Get your shopping fix at the Maasai Market, a vibrant open-air market where you can find everything from handmade jewelry to traditional clothing and crafts. Don't forget to bargain with the vendors for the best prices!
  2. Walk through the City Center: Take a stroll through the bustling City Center and soak up the energy and excitement of Nairobi.
  3.  City Market: This market offers a variety of Kenyan souvenirs and handicrafts. You can take a walk through the market, shop for souvenirs, and learn about Kenyan culture. And most importantly try authentic Kenyan foods
  4. Take in the Views at the KICC Helipad: Get a bird's eye view of Nairobi from the KICC Helipad, located on the rooftop of the Kenyatta International Convention Center. It's a breathtaking way to take in the city's skyline.
  5.  Uhuru Park: This is a beautiful park located in the heart of the city, and it offers a serene environment for a walk or a picnic. There's a man-made lake where you can hire a paddle boat.

Nairobi is a city full of surprises and adventure, and this walking tour is just the beginning. So put on your walking shoes, grab your camera, and get ready to experience the best that Nairobi has to offer!

Ishmael was our walking tour guide for the day and what a legend he was. We took us all through the city and answered all the questions thrown at him with confidence. He is a true local and will even assist with buying goods! So much laughs and fun was had today and I would 100% recommend Ishmael. Asante sana Ishmael!
