Soviet Yerevan Free Walking Tour
Description
Our Soviet Yerevan Walking Tour covers Soviet Armenian history, art, architecture, scientific and cultural life. It takes you to areas in the center of the city (and a bit to the south) and shows you the visible and the hidden Soviet time Armenian monuments and buildings and tells you their interesting stories. Some of the highlights of the tour: Republic Square with some of the Soviet details still remaining, a post office, Soviet Armenian statues and monuments, typical Soviet Armenian buildings and courtyards, Soviet Armenian Social Modernist (and some Brutalist) architecture and a metro ride to the train station and back to Baghramyan Avenue to the Supreme-Soviet and Polit-Buro buildings of Armenian SSR…
At the meeting point look for the guide with our orange logo lanyard badge. We don't use umbrellas, tshirts, flags, etc.
This tour is not suitable for the elderly and babies, toddlers with or without strollers and children under 18.
