If you want a tour full of history and facts, this is not the right choice. There are other guides in the city who focus on history. My tour is about seeing Berat through the eyes of a local. I share daily life, current stories, and we can go more into the suburbs if you prefer.

I also offer a photography tour. If you want, I can take photos of you with my camera along the way.

I do not visit the castle as part of the main tour anymore. It has become very touristy, and I prefer showing you the real daily life of the city. If you want to visit the castle for photography, we can do that in the evening tour only. If you have a car, we can meet at the castle. If not, we can drive there (if it’s too hot, rainy, etc.) or walk up if you prefer. The hike is steep.

My tour is flexible. We can focus on neighborhoods, local spots, people, and life today in Berat. You can also choose to include a drive through canyons or mountains.

I am not a big company. I’m just one person who loves showing my city. This started as a personal project in 2012 and now helps support my small family.

Tours usually last around 2 hours but can go up to 4 hours if you wish. Start times are flexible between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Start times can also be flexible if needed and if you wish, as I usually lock each tour for only one booking at a time to offer guests a more personalized experience.

If you want to go to the countryside, canyons, or mountains, only the tour starting at 10:00 is possible.

The early morning tour will offer you an experience of how we locals start the day, the perfect timing also if you are staying in an airbnb with kitchen facilities so we can go to daily market for fresh vegetables, fruits, etc.
