The tour with Yusra was fantastic. I highly recommend booking a tour with her. Even though there were only two of us tourists, and it ended up being just me, Yusra never lost her enthusiasm for showing me the city of Algiers and its hidden corners, which is what I was particularly interested in seeing. In the end, it felt like it went from a private tour to a conversation with a friend showing me her city and taking beautiful photos for me to remember it by. Thank you for this wonderful day, and if you're a solo traveler, don't hesitate to take this tour; you'll feel right at home.

Nad’s tour took us through Alger Centre and the Casbah, and we visited sights that are significant to the city’s cultural, religious, and political life. Nad speaks excellent English, and thoroughly knowledgeable about the city. He even gave us recommendations for a traditional Algerian dinner that suited our needs as vegetarians. Thank you, Nad!

Yusra is charming; you can tell she’s passionate about her city, and she really conveys it. She also shares very interesting knowledge and facts. Do it you won’t regret it.

We had an excellent tour and highly recommend it. Our guide has extensive knowledge of Algeria and its people, and he presented the country’s difficult history and struggle for independence in a very clear and engaging way. He showed us hidden corners of the Casbah we would never have found on our own, and as an extra highlight, he even took us to visit the Grand Mosque. A truly memorable experience.

Yusra is an amazing guide! She's knows a lot. And by a lot I mean a whole lot and she definitely takes the time to show you all you need to see (and in Algiers that's also a lot), even if it takes all day. Great inside tips on where to eat and what to see later. Yusra is full of life and fun to have as a guide. Highly recommended!

I was the only one on the tour, and it was a great thing because I left the tour having made a new friend! Yusra was very chatty and she certainly is knowledgeable about her beautiful city! A scheduled 4 hour tour turned into a 6 hour personalised tour. It was wonderful! 10 out of 10, hands down!

Best tour I’ve ever booked on GuruWalk! - Perfect English and very clear communication - Absolutely NOT boring — everything was super interesting, and she knew an incredible amount - Very flexible with time and location - Great tips and recommendations I really wanted to do the tour in Tipaza as well — I’m sure it would have been amazing. Unfortunately, we had already booked with someone else. If you’re visiting Algeria or Algiers, you absolutely have to take a tour with her!
