In this special edition free tour we will visit the surroundings of the Arenal, learning about a party that makes the people of Bilbao cut back on their vacations. Nobody wants to miss them! Why will it be?
Get to know the konpartsas, the txosnas, the txupinazo, the Mari Jaia and everything you need to not miss a single breath of this Big Week in Bilbao. Gora Mari Jaia!
On this 1:00/1:30 hour tour we will visit the main areas of Casco Viejo and El Arenal, the center and origin of the Bilbao festivities. We will listen to the most interesting anecdotes and the organizations that each year make the Big Week possible.
For this tour, I recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. The typical blue party scarf is welcome, of course, but optional :)
There will be time for questions, recommendations and tips to enjoy these holidays in the best way.
To start our tour, look for a boy in a red txapela (Basque beret) and blue party scarf in the square between the Ribera market and the Merced bridge.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
