Free Tour of Cádiz. Its history, anecdotes, and curiosities
Tour description
On this tour, we will stroll through the most emblematic corners of Cádiz, and I will tell you the fascinating history hidden in the oldest city in the West, enlivened with curious stories and anecdotes about the city.
Throughout these 2 hours, you will learn to identify the house of a merchant from the Americas, discover some hidden gems of our heritage, and find out why Cádiz was the only city in Spain where Napoleon could not enter, among many other things!
From our meeting point next to the town hall, in Plaza San Juan de Dios, let me guide you through our 3000 years of history in a dynamic and entertaining way so you can get to know today's Cádiz much better and the leading role we played in the past, making a special stop to talk about "La Pepa," the first Spanish Constitution of 1812.
** The tour will proceed with a minimum of 5 people
** Dog friendly. You can come accompanied by your pet, as the entire route is outdoors
*** Payments with cards are not accepted, but YES with Paypal, Revolut, or Bizum.
*** GROUP POLICY:
Guruwalk has activated a group policy option where if there are 7 or more people coming together, a payment of 10€ per adult is required at the start (children under 14 free)
If you are a group of 7 or more people, it is necessary to make a joint reservation, indicating the total number of people coming and selecting the payment commitment box at the start of the tour.
If the group is divided into several reservations of fewer people to avoid this payment commitment, but at the start of the tour, it is detected that it is a group, this payment will still need to be made in advance.
The reason for this measure is to ensure a payment that matches the value of the guide's work.
** The itinerary may undergo modifications. Always seeking the best development of the activity and the best experience for the visitor.
