We are a group of university students who love Mexico and enjoy sharing the history, food, traditions and local face of the country to tourists. We love to continue preparing ourselves to give excellent attention as we would like to receive it to us.
Mexico City is the 5th largest metropolis in the world. On this tour we will visit the eastern part of the city and one of the most populated neighborhoods: Iztapalapa .
This neighborhood has 1.8 million inhabitants and is surrounded by a chain of extinct volcanoes . It is also an area full of urban art and murals that can be seen from above.
We will do this tour in Cable Car 🚡 (Cablebus), the longest in the world and we will be able to observe the architecture of the houses, the layout of the streets, the volcanoes and mountains ⛰
We will visit a park with an incredible view, in addition to discovering three representative musical rhythms of the area: cumbia , sonidero and urban rock. 🎤
We will also talk about the way Mexicans lived at the beginning of the 20th century and how the eastern zone grew, the public service problems that existed for years and how they were solved, creating a very united community.
If you are interested in knowing a non-tourist area and seeing the way we live, this tour is for you.
