Tour description
Come and discover San Cristóbal de la Laguna, the first capital of the Island of Tenerife and a World Heritage City.
We will start from the Plaza del Cristo, where the homonymous municipal market and the Santuario del Santísimo are located.
From here, we will start touring the historic center of the city of Aguere, as the ancient Guanches called it. Admiring us with the beauty of its colonial art and its imposing facades, while we discover its history, legends and traditions.
During the tour we will have the opportunity to see for 2 hours the exteriors of the convent of Santa Catalina de Siena , from the 17th century, and the palace of Nava . Temples such as Santo Domingo de Guzmán and the chapel of the Green Cross . The main streets: Herradores and Obispo Rey Redondo . The Cathedral , declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. The stately homes of the Alhóndiga, the House of the Corregidor, the Salazar Palace, the House of the Captains ...
To end the tour in the best way , we headed to the Concepción area, a place that despite housing the oldest church, is the liveliest area of the city! There we will enjoy the tasting of a typical liquor , the local atmosphere that is breathed and the different bars and craft shops that populate this beautiful square.
