Outside visit
Ulica kralja Tomislava 12, 21000, Split, CroatiaThe Golden Gate is the main entrance to the Palace, and one of the four main Roman gates into the Diocletian's Palace. The gate is on the road to the north, towards Salona, the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia and Diocletian's birthplace. Golden Gate are situated opposite to one more very known monument, Gregory of Nin.

Outside visit
PeristilWe are now at Peristyle, the open space of the imperial square. As a central spot of the Palace, it is framed on both sides by monumental arcades and oriented towards the imperial loggia. Admire the stunning colonnaded square, one of the most beautiful ones on the Mediterranean. Also you will be able to hear about transitions of the buildings and life as result of expansion of christianity.

Outside visit
Saint Domnius CathedralStanding on the Peristil, you can not miss seeing the Cathedral of St. Domnius. While you standing in front of it, I will be showing you the signifant parts of it and explaining you facts and story behind it. The Cathedral is one of the best preserved Roman structures in the city, and it's still in use to this day! We will not be entering inside, but everything that needs to be know about will be said.
