The old city center of Taichung is a city with a split personality, designed by the Japanese in the 19th Century to be the little Kyoto outside of Japan. It now echoes the youthful metropolis of Westernization.

Embark on a journey through time and discover the historical side of Taichung. Travel with professional Mandarin or English-speaking tour guides who will tell you all the hidden secrets of Taichung!
 
Guides will take visitors to the 100-year-old Taichung Station and Miyahara Sweet Shop, the number one ice cream shop in Taiwan, which still retains its old appearance.
