The night falls. A young man interested in the occult and witchcraft awaits you. He knows that you are curious and that you want to discover the evils that are hidden in this city: the Holy Inquisition, the mysteries of the church of Saint Peter the Elder, the sculpture dedicated to Lucifer...
He is willing to tell you everything. In return, he just wants you to immerse yourself in his stories, perhaps to points you won't be able to come back from. You will witness the terrors that exist in every street and in every corner of Madrid... And perhaps you will become part of a small treatise that this humble scholar is writing.
You will begin the descent into hell in the Plaza de la Villa , where a ghost emerged on a full moon night, to continue along Calle del Codo , witness of countless duels to the death next to the narrowest door of ancient Madrid. You will pass through the Plaza del Conde de Miranda and its miraculous bibles towards the Plaza del Cordón to learn about a history of palace intrigues and betrayals, leading to the Church of San Pedro el Viejo , a sacred temple within whose walls hundreds of exorcisms have been performed. .
Your steps will take you to the Cárcel de la Villa , where many prisoners spent their last night before being executed in the Plaza Mayor, and then you will approach the Parish of San Ginés and the Joy Eslava Theater , scenes of murders caused by unleashed passions and that generated sad injustices. You will walk along Calle del Arco del Triunfo or Callejón del Infierno, where a terrible fire occurred and murderous instincts have been awakened, to finally head to the Oñate Palace along Calle Mayor , the place where an unsolved crime occurred that has generated all kinds of of suspicions and dark theories.
