Central Park is the place for marriage proposals, elopements, micro weddings and photo shoots: but which spot has the best views and backdrops? Which spot is the most private? Which one is near a good restaurant?

Chris Shelley is an experienced New York Wedding Officiant who has been marrying people (to each other) since 2011.

Outside visit

Cop CotCop Cot sees hundreds of weddings a year. This shaded gazebo nearly keeps people dry when it rains and looks great in photos. It's close to Central Park South, easy to find, and easily accessible if you're cool with climbing a hill.
