Description
Creative After-Work Experience in Munich
Bilingual Tour (English & German) | Small Group – Max. 12 Guests
Unwind after work with a creative evening that connects classic city sights with Munich’s alternative art scene. This bilingual small-group experience blends the timeless beauty of the Old Town with urban nightlife and a hands-on graffiti workshop in the city’s vibrant south.
The walk begins at Marienplatz, the historic heart of Munich. As the city lights come on, you’ll explore famous landmarks and hidden corners—from the gothic Frauenkirche and Mariensäule to elegant courtyards, theatres, and baroque churches. Quiet, romantically lit alleyways reveal the Old Town at its most atmospheric.
Along the route, you’ll “frame” six iconic views of Munich. These impressions become the foundation for the creative finale. After a short subway ride, the setting shifts dramatically as you arrive at Bahnwärter Thiel—a dynamic world of containers, street art, and alternative culture.
Here, the hands-on highlight begins. Inside a heated shipping container, you’ll use professional stencils and spray paint to create six of your own Munich postcards. These unique pieces make memorable souvenirs or personal gifts and ensure a relaxed, inspiring experience in any season.

Guide: Philipp's Munich Tours
Guiding since 2023PRO
Hi, I’m Philipp – a certified local guide, trained architect, and founder of Philipp's Munich Tours. I’m a native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish. Over the years, I’ve received hundreds of 5-star reviews across multiple platforms.
My tours blend architecture, art, history, and creativity to reveal a side of Munich that’s full of surprises. We’ll explore iconic landmarks like the Frauenkirche as well as hidden gems such as Bahnwärter Thiel with bold street art, the quirky Alte Utting (featured in The New York Times), and the amazing Isar River.
In bohemian Schwabing, we’ll uncover striking Jugendstil architecture and trace the footsteps of cultural icons like Thomas Mann and Wassily Kandinsky, co-founder of the expressionist movement Blauer Reiter (Blue Rider).
Expect vivid storytelling, unexpected discoveries, and a creative twist – you’ll even make your own spray-painted postcard as a personal souvenir.
