Multilingual Street Art Walk & Spray Workshop

The tour lasts 1 hour
Available in German, English, Spanish, French and Italian

Description

Small-group experience (max. 12 guests)

Duration: 1 hour

Discover Munich’s creative side on this compact walking tour and hands-on spray-painting workshop.

We begin at Piazza Zenetti with a short walk through Munich’s former cattle-yard district. Along the way, we explore the striking Münchner Volkstheater, local street art and the alternative cultural hub Bahnwärter Thiel.

The experience concludes inside my colorful artist studio, located in a (heated) shipping container at Bahnwärter Thiel. Using professional stencils and water-based spray paint, you will create your own Munich postcards to take home.

No artistic experience is required, and all materials and protective equipment are provided.

How does the multilingual experience work?

I conduct the experience live in either English or German. I also speak Spanish and French, allowing me to communicate personally with guests and answer questions in these languages.

The complete commentary can be followed in more than 50 languages through real-time AI translation. English, German, Spanish, French and Italian are regularly available. If you require another language, such as Chinese or Japanese, please send me a short message before booking so I can prepare the system accordingly.

Receiver devices, headphones and internet access are provided. You do not need to use your own phone or mobile data.

This innovative multilingual format is currently being introduced and refined. Your experience and feedback will help me improve it further. If a significant technical issue prevents the translation from working properly, you are not expected to make a contribution.

Guiding since 2023
Hi, I’m Philipp – a certified local guide, trained architect, and founder of Philipp's Munich Tours. I’m a native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish. Over the years, I’ve received hundreds of 5-star reviews across multiple platforms. My tours blend architecture, art, history, and creativity to reveal a side of Munich that’s full of surprises. We’ll explore iconic landmarks like the Frauenkirche as well as hidden gems such as Bahnwärter Thiel with bold street art, the quirky Alte Utting (featured in The New York Times), and the amazing Isar River. In bohemian Schwabing, we’ll uncover striking Jugendstil architecture and trace the footsteps of cultural icons like Thomas Mann and Wassily Kandinsky, co-founder of the expressionist movement Blauer Reiter (Blue Rider). Expect vivid storytelling, unexpected discoveries, and a creative twist – you’ll even make your own spray-painted postcard as a personal souvenir. Join me for a unique and unforgettable Munich adventure!

Meeting point:Piazza ZenettiWe'll meet at Piazza Zenetti Square, easily identified by its distinctive grey and turquoise street furniture. Look for me with a tablet slung over my shoulder — I’ll be easy to spot. The easiest route is via subway lines U3 or U6. Exit at Poccistrasse station and enjoy a 10-minute walk to our meeting point.Open in Google Maps
