We begin in front of the Guildhall, Bath’s historic city hall. Next to it is Rebecca’s Fountain (1861), a Victorian drinking fountain inspired by the biblical figure, symbolising hospitality and charity.

Bath Abbey

This stunning Gothic abbey was originally founded in the 7th century and rebuilt in the 15th. We'll learn fascinating facts about its architecture and restoration .Also, we’ll introduce the Roman origins of Bath and its evolution through the medieval and Georgian periods. In front of the main entrance, we’ll provide details on visiting times, ticket prices, and how to tour the inside of the Abbey.

The Pump Room Restaurant

This elegant 18th-century Georgian salon was once the place to see and be seen. Visitors came to “take the waters” here. We’ll share fun facts and its connection to Jane Austen.
