Kobe Walking Tour: From Shrines to the Sea with 360 Camera

Kobe is not just a city — it’s a feeling. Let me show you why.

This tour invites you to experience Kobe city from a local’s eyes — a unique blend of Japanese tradition and international influence, all within walking distance. What makes it special? It’s not just the places, but the stories — the secrets of the backstreets, the echoes of history, and the personal touch you won’t find in guidebooks.

We’ll begin in the lively Motomachi shopping street, wander through the colorful lanes of Nankinmachi (Chinatown), pause for reflection at the ancient Ikuta Shrine, and soak in city-meets-sea views at Harborland and Be Kobe. Each stop has its charm — and a hidden tale waiting to be uncovered.

Whether you’re here for a day or a week, this walk will open your eyes to Kobe.

Book now and let’s discover the city’s quiet wonders, one step at a time.

The tour lasts 2 hours

Meriken ParkMeriken Park is a nice waterfront park in Kobe's port area. Built on an outcropping of reclaimed land, the park is covered in grassy lawn and open courtyards dotted with a collection of modern art installations and fountains. It is home to some of the city's more iconic contemporary architecture such as the red Kobe Port Tower and the Kobe Maritime Museum.

Ikuta JinjaIkuta Shrine is said to be one of the oldest shrines in the country - supposedly founded in the 3rd century by Empress Jingu to revere the kami Wakahirume. Note that a kami is often translated as a god, spirit or deity - but there is actually not meant to be a direct English translation for this word.
