I will show you all the sights worth seeing in Bern in just a few hours.

I live in Bern – the capital and most beautiful city in the world.
I grew up here and I love the city.

I have discovered that I am highly motivated to show strangers the city and inspire them.

I have a great little tour of Bern – you can see everything. (Duration approx. 2-3 hours)

We start at the train station and walk through the Neustadt (New Town). There we can see the famous Federal Palace (President's House). Along the way, we see well-known Bernese landmarks such as the Käfigturm (Prison Tower) and the Zytglogge (Clock Tower). At the Federal Palace, we have our first beautiful view. Another view awaits us from the Kirchenfeld Bridge. We continue walking down through the beautiful Old Town, past the Bern Minster and its viewing platform. We reach the bridge over the Aare River. There we visit the Bear Pit, the symbol of Bern. With luck, we might see the bears. We continue slightly uphill to the Rose Garden. There, we have the most beautiful view over Bern. You can see the Old Town and the bend in the river. Now we walk back down to the river. Along the riverbank, we are surrounded by nature. The river is called the Aare. In summer, it's perfect for swimming. As a professional swimmer, I'm always there. In summer, hundreds of people swim. The river is clean and crystal clear. At Schwellenmätteli, we have a coffee. We enjoy the view of the Federal Palace and the Minster from below. There's also a beautiful threshold at Schwellenmätteli. Finally, we take the shortest cable car in Europe to the Neustadt (New Town) and our starting point.

The tour is easy and comfortable. Suitable for older people as well.

This short tour offers all the highlights of Bern. It's varied, combining city life with a bit of nature and a river. There are many beautiful viewpoints and plenty of historical sites.
