Tour description
Traveling to Seoul and not sure how to spend your evenings? 🌙✨ Then this Special Night Walking Tour is just for you!
We will walk from the charming streets of Insadong to the lively heart of Myeongdong, walking through Jongno, one of Seoul’s most important business and financial districts. Along the way, you will learn how Korea’s powerful conglomerates helped drive the country’s incredible economic growth in a remarkably short time, as well as the challenges and downsides of such rapid development. 📈
As the city lights come on, we explore Korea’s major religions by visiting two iconic landmarks. Jogyesa Temple looks especially magical at night with its glowing lanterns 🏮, while Myeongdong Cathedral becomes one of the most beautiful and popular evening photo spots.📸
Walking along the peaceful Cheonggyecheon Stream, we will tell you the heartbreaking story of King Jeongjo and his father, Crown Prince Sado. 💔👑
In short, this walking tour offers a deeper understanding of contemporary Korean history and shows how South Korea developed into one of the world’s most successful and modern countries in such a short period of time. ✨
Note: Since this is a tip-based tour, guests cover their own tea/street food purchases.
