You’ll hear the story behind the Statue of Liberty — why France gifted it to the United States, what it symbolized to arriving immigrants, and how it became a global icon of freedom. We’ll also discuss Ellis Island and its role in shaping American identity.
Along the way, we’ll point out and explain:
- The dramatic skyline of Lower Manhattan, including One World Trade Center
