Tour description

Discover Coyoacán, one of Mexico City's most charming and historic neighborhoods, on this free tour through its colonial streets, lively plazas, and bohemian corners.

During the tour, we'll learn how this old town became one of the city's most important cultural centers. We'll stroll through iconic landmarks such as the Chapel of San Antonio de Padua, the National Sound Archive, the Jesús Reyes Heroles Cultural Center, the picturesque Chapel of Santa Catarina, the lively Centenario Garden, and the traditional Coyoacán Market, where we'll discover interesting facts about the local cuisine and way of life.

We'll also see the exterior of the famous Frida Kahlo Museum, the house where the iconic painter Frida Kahlo lived, and talk about her life, her art, and her relationship with Coyoacán.

Throughout the tour I will share stories, anecdotes and curiosities about the culture, art and history of this neighborhood that has been home to artists, intellectuals and key figures in Mexico.

A perfect walk to discover the most authentic, cultural and bohemian side of Mexico City.
