We are Alejandro and Paula from Velasco Travel Agency, passionate about travel and sharing authentic experiences with people from all over the world. We have lived in Switzerland for five years, where we have raised our little family of three. During this time, we have had the opportunity to travel all over the country, discovering incredible places… but there is one city that stole our hearts from the very first moment: Bern.
Bern isn't just a city to us; it's where we met and where our story began. That's why we want to share it with the rest of the world and let others see it as we do: special, authentic, and full of life.
On this tour, we'll explore the historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while uncovering its history, curiosities, and best-kept secrets. We'll stroll through its medieval streets, see its famous fountains and the iconic clock tower, and you'll learn why bears are so important to the city. We'll also share anecdotes you won't find in guidebooks and give you real recommendations on where to eat, what to do, and how to make the most of your stay.

Meeting point:

We'll meet at Bundesplatz, right in front of the Federal Parliament in the center of Bern. We'll be in the square with a tablet displaying the name Velasco Travel Agency, so you can easily find us. Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before the tour starts. If you have any problems or are running late, you can contact us through the app.
