Lisbon Through Music and Story - Question of Echo

The tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes
Available in English

Description

Step into Lisbon in a completely different way.
You walk through the city wearing wireless headphones while a cinematic soundscape of stories, music and atmosphere unfolds around you.
At certain moments, something shifts and the sound becomes live. I sing a few verses right there in the streets or gardens, just for your small group.
Just walk, listen and feel.
This is not about monuments or historical facts.
It’s a personal, immersive experience, blending storytelling, memories of growing up in Lisbon, moments of silence, and live music woven into the city itself.
We move through different neighborhoods. From monumental spaces to hidden gardens and lively corners where the city feels most alive. The pace is relaxed, with pauses where Lisbon’s natural sound takes over.
What to expect:
• Small group
• Wireless headphones provided
• Curated soundtrack + live singing moments
• A mix of history, literature, personal stories and silence
• Duration: ~1h30h – 2h00 (relaxed pace)
Perfect if you want to experience Lisbon slowly and emotionally. Not just see it, but feel it.
Not for everyone, but if it clicks, you won’t forget it.

Guide: Miguel
Guiding since 2026
I’m a filmmaker and musician based in Lisbon, but instead of telling stories on a screen, I bring them to life within the city itself. I create immersive walking experiences where storytelling, sound design, and live music transform the way you see and feel Lisbon. Each journey invites you to slow down, listen deeply, and rediscover familiar streets through a completely new lens. Question of Echo was born from this vision: the idea that a place can become something entirely different when you truly listen to it. This is not just a walk. It’s a story you step into.

Meeting point:Basílica da EstrelaI will be waiting for you directly in front of the main entrance of the Basilica da Estrela. You will easily recognize me: I'll be the one with the professional audio gear (tablets and headsets). I usually arrive 15 minutes early to set up the soundtrack and prepare the wireless receivers for our group. Look for the person preparing the 'soundtrack' for our walk — that's where our cinematic experience begins.Open in Google Maps
