Malta: Life Outside Valletta - Haz Zebbug Village Life
Description
Starting from the Parish Square, in front of St. Philip of Agira Parish Church, this guided walk explores the rich history and heritage of one of Malta’s oldest towns. Known as Città Rohan and named after the olive groves that once covered the area, Ħaż-Żebbuġ has grown from a rural settlement into a vibrant community with deep religious and cultural traditions.
As we stroll through its charming streets, we’ll discover traditional Maltese architecture, historic landmarks, and stories of everyday village life. Along the way, we’ll learn about the town’s connection to agriculture, its important role in Maltese history, and the traditions that continue to shape local identity today.
