Discover Zurich beyond the lake and Bahnhofstrasse, and join my tour of the trendy “Zürich West” district.
Here, you will find — among many other things — converted historic industrial landmarks, striking new flagship buildings, a market hall, and temporary-use spaces for food lovers.
We will stroll through these areas and make our way back towards the main railway station along the River Limmat, where locals swim right in the heart of the city. A few years ago, this area was known for its open drug scene — today, it is the place to see and be seen.
